At the California State University Dominguez Hills (CSUDH), in Carson, the Science
Society of CSUDH will be hosting a presentation called “Hope for the Future?
Politics, Consumerism and Environmental Crisis,” to be given by Dr. Sheela Pawar of
the CSUDH Philosophy Department. The event will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 20
in room NSM B-252. It’s co-sponsored by CAMS and Sigma Pi. No RSVP is needed and
there is no charge to attend.
A day pass to the university’s parking lots costs $6. Cross streets are University
Drive to the south, Avalon Blvd to the west, Central Ave to the east, and Victoria
