Engaging Girls in STEM Education Fair, an In-Person Event Organized by the LA County Office of Education

SCALACS is proud to announce that this year we will participate in this event held by the LA County Office of Education specifically held for K-12 girls from high Schools throughout LA County. Two booth-visiting sessions will be scheduled, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. The SCALACS booth was visited by over 120 students, some at the middle school and some at the high school level last year. This year we will continue to set up our booth and plan for some exciting science experiments demonstrations.
We thank the LA County Office of Education for allowing SCALACS the opportunity to be part of this impactful event. So, mark your calendar and visit us at our booth! After the event, you may take a stroll at LA's beloved zoo!
