ViridisChem: AI-Driven Tools Enabling Green Chemistry Adoption
Zoom talk hosted by the California Section, ACS
Thursday, October 16th, 2025
11:30 AM – 1:00 PM PDT
By Neelam Vaidya
Abstract:
ViridisChem was started by founders Neelam Vaidya and Rahul Vaidya, to address the needs of scientists involved in product development within the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, Petrochemical, Cosmetics, Textile, Paint and House-hold products.
As the foundation of its AI-powered solutions, ViridisChem has built one of the largest and most curated toxicity databases with over 100 million chemicals, an “Automatic Properties Predictor” and an “Chemically intelligent Gen-AI agent” that understands the chemistry behind chemicals, reactions and complex mixtures.
During this presentation, Neelam will offer a quick overview of the ViridisChem platform, how they are using deep-machine learning and Gen-AI to empower advanced toxicity analysis, followed by the demos of its products SDS Generator (for chemicals and mixtures), Chemical Analyzer, Reaction Analyzer and show how its Gen-AI agent seamlessly integrates all its products along with third-party solutions to offer a powerful R&D tool that can fast-track your work by many weeks, while offering a toxicity focus throughout the product development.
